Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah became the first player to hit 32 goals in a Premier League single season after leading his side to a 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Sunday, May 13.

The Egyptian forward joined the Reds from Serie A outfit, Roma last summer and he has scored 44 goals in all competitions in his first term at the club.

He will have a chance to increase the tally, and probably win his first title at the club when they clash against Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26.

Salah has already won the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards, and was handed his golden boot yesterday for scoring the most goals in the 2017-18 season – beating Harry Kane to the prize.

Earlier this year, he was crowned the best player on the African continent, just weeks after receiving the BBC Africa’s best player award.

However, after the last Premier League game of the season on Sunday, Salah’s daughter, Makka stunned her father by running to the pitch to celebrate the record breaking player.

Having greeted him, she ran towards a ball on the pitch to have a little kick-about by herself, much to the delight of those inside the stadium. Watching her showcase her skills, the Liverpool fans cheered every time she kicked the ball, while fans at home were equally impressed.

He has a total of 44 goals going into the Champions League final after beating Harry Kane to the Golden Boot award.

However, he has to outscore Cristiano Ronaldo. who has 15 UCL goals already to claim the UEFA top scorer award at the end of their crunch clash in Ukraine later this month.
