Portugal and Juventus ace, Cristiano Ronaldo has named Joao Felix to be the successor of Barcelona legend and talisman, Lionel Messi as reported by Fox Sports.
Ronaldo believes that the Portuguese youngster is capable of replacing the Argentine in the long run. The 19 year-old currently features for Atletico Madrid and was snapped by the Los Rojiblancos this summer for a sum of £120 million. At about the same time, Griezmann joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for about the same sum.
The Blaugrana should try and get Felix quickly so that they can groom him and be prepared for the time when the Argentine forward finally dies retire. No doubt, the quality of Messi will be missed but if anyone’s even close to replicating it or coming close to his level, Felix has the potential to do so.
